Utilising storytelling for branding strategies, along with my recently improved drawing skills, I created a branding and strategy proposal for Pink Dog Media. They are a small start-up that focuses on web development for small businesses and wanted to see what I could develop for them in the months leading up to their launch. The proposal included a simple brand strategy, logo, and visual identity.
In collaboration with the client, we identified key values and principles to convey through the visual identity and strategy. As a small company, Pink Dog Media wanted a look that felt playful, informal, and approachable.
Since their primary service is web development, this was reflected in the design choices. The use of Arial, a classic web typeface, and bold colours that reference the early web. Together, these elements communicate both heritage and expertise in the field.
The result is a flexible identity system that can adapt and expand as Pink Dog Media grows.
